Our charity provides a preventative and outreach service for families at the start of their Autism journey.
Joining our family entitles you to use our extensive book lending service, sensory library, gives you access to you courses, training, speakers and clinics plus family play sessions and after school activities. We provide parent champion sessions, online support and a face to face service.
“Autism Puzzles consists of many pieces of support, understanding, guidance, friendship and a whole lot of quirkiness that when put together form a family of strength”
“This Charity opened doors for me, a focal point where I can gain knowledge and information about Autism and a support network of friends and professionals”
“On my first visit, I walked in unsure of what I could find but I was greeted with smiles and hugs and everyone was so warm and welcoming. That was 2 years ago and since then AP has made such an amazingly positive impact on our lives”
After School activities
We have provided lots of activities for your child and their siblings over the previous years. Chess, tennis, arts & crafts, football, Lego, board games plus much more. These activities are great for our children to practice their social skills, improve their confidence and make new friends.
Our team is looking forward to meeting you and your family.
No one really understands the emotions, stress, worry, uncertainty and practical implications that having a child with autism can bring unless they have had a similar experience. No one can understand the euphoria that you feel when your child has reached the slightest – and to some remarkable – milestones and the strengths and closeness it can bring to your family, unless they have a shared experience.
What workshops, courses, clinics and events can you expect to attend?
Workshops provided by Geoff Evans – Autism Consultant are booked for our families to attend on topics such as challenging behaviour, sexuality and puberty, anxiety and shutdowns. Guest speakers are bought in for you to hear varying perspectives from an autistic persons point of view. Clinics are provided by professionals such as occupational therapists, speech & language, play etc.
We provide a fun packed activity programme for your families to enjoy during the Summer Holidays!
