Autism Puzzles is a self-funded charity who relies on our team of volunteer fundraisers to enable us to continue to support families going through the diagnostic process and beyond. The good news is, you can help too!

To get you started, here are our top ten fundraising ideas, from raising money while you shop online, to climbing a mountain, there’ll be something for everyone:

1. Sporting Event

Run, swim, cycle, or all three! Whether you’re on the heels of Usain Bolt, or doing your first ever event, we will be here to support you. We have charity places on many big name events, such as the Wales Velothon, where you don’t even have to pay a registration fee! Just sign up, start training, and get those sponsors.

2. Cake Sale/Coffee Morning

Cook up a storm. Hold a bake sale and sell yummy treats to friends and colleagues, who knows, perhaps you could impress even Paul Hollywood.

3. Sign up to Easy Fundraising

Shop online? This one is as easy as 1-2-3. 1: Sign up here; 2: Activate the donation reminders; 3: Shop at your usual retailers online, and raise money without it costing you a penny.

4. Hold a Raffle

Hold a raffle in your workplace or among friends, and raise some money the old fashioned way. Many companies will happily donate prizes for charity, but you don’t just have to stick to physical items. Why not try a skills raffle, where people donate a skill or time, such as gardening, cleaning, or letter writing.

5. Set up a Standing Order

Main source of income from individuals, the humble standing order makes a huge difference to any charity. Regular income ensures that our doors stay open to those who need our support, and any amount each month helps. 6. Go on the Adventure of a Lifetime

Have you always fancied walking the length of the Great Wall of China? Want to go skydiving? Or what about cycling all the way across Death Valley? We can help you plan and arrange the experience of a lifetime, and all you have to do is train, fundraise, and go. Cross something off your bucket-list today!

7. Hold a Family Fun Day

Get the whole family involved with a fun day! From fairs to picnics; garden parties to street gatherings, hold an event for Autism Puzzles, and have a great day whilst raising money for a brilliant cause.

8. Dress Down Day

Fed up of suits or uniforms? Hold a dress down day in your workplace or school, and wear your comfy clothes for a change. This is an easy way to raise a lot of money, and is always a huge hit in the office.

9. Silent Auction

This is something you can either arrange yourself, or you can employ the assistance of an auction house. Silent auctions are a great way to raise money, with big ticket items, and unique prizes. All you need is a space large enough to display what’s on offer, a ballot box for offers, and a method of taking payment. Watch as people’s competitive nature comes out, and the money rolls in.

10. Brave the Shave

Raise money by shaving your head, or waxing your unmentionables; the more hair you begin with the better! Lots of people will pay to see a hairy man get their chest waxed for the first time – just don’t forget to moisturise after!
