To celebrate the end of National Volunteering week, we wanted to write a bit about our volunteers, and what you can do for our charity.

Did you know that predominantly, Autism Puzzles’ staff are volunteers? The people doing outreach, running family fun sessions, and raising vital funds for the charity all give their time to ensure our families get the services they so desperately need.

Most of our volunteers also have their own children on the autistic spectrum, and some either have or are going through the diagnosis process themselves.  This ensures that all members of the team have a unique understanding of the issues our families face, and are able to provide that empathetic support that our charity is known for.

Whilst our current volunteers are amazing, we don’t have enough of them. We need more people who can give just a couple of hours a week to do things like:

  • Community fundraising
  • Individual fundraising
  • Community autism awareness campaigning
  • Large event fundraising
  • Managing our online shop

From as little as an hour a week, you could make a huge difference to our growing charity. Help us continue to make a difference in the lives of the families who rely on our support. Be the change you want to see.
